A list of funeral director charity grants for small UK charities and local community groups.  This was only created in Feb 25, thanks to help from Joycelyn Gerhardt of Funeral Partners Ltd.  Once I've had time to do more research, I'll add more.

Funeral Partners Ltd - Community Grants

Funeral Partners Ltd is a company that quietly does a lot by making grants to small charities close to their funeral homes.   They own 225+ homes across the UK, including multiple locations in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.  Listed below are the homes that currently make grants to small local charities. 

They have 3 funding rounds each year to support groups local to a home for activities that support Education, Employment Opportunities, Poverty & Social Deprivation.  In 2025, these will be

Westerleigh Group

They have over 30 crematoria and cemeteries in England, Scotland and Wales. They have a corporate charity partner.  Each of their crematoria are members of the Recycling Scheme (see our guide for details) and each year, they donate in a region of £500,000 to charities and charitable causes. They say that staff are also frequently involved in events and activities to raise valuable funds for charities.

Dignity Funeral Directors

Dignity Funeral Directors partner with various charities and their staff fundraise. They say that the majority of charities they work with are chosen at a local level by staff.  they have 800 funeral homes in the UK.  Enter your postcode to find your nearest one.

Crematoria Recycling Grant Funding
